60 years of the Cuban Missile Crisis

We observe… we watch… we stop the worst, paradoxically respecting the free will of individuals and communities.

Something similar to what we did during the so-called Cuban Missile Crisis, which, by a telling synchronicity, is celebrating its sixtieth anniversary this year [2022].

Let there be peace, let solidarity movements take place, let even severe initiatives in defense of the common good take place, in the proportion that common sense and the universal principles of justice, freedom and fraternity demand, so that, as much as possible, in carrying out what behooves human responsibility, the destructive effects of the current crisis that involves the entire civilization of the planet are mitigated.

Meanwhile, we reiterate that, despite the degree of escalation of violence and/or energetic defensive reaction of the parties involved, the earthly humanity is safe from self-extinction.

3 parameters of spiritual self-protection

3 parameters of spiritual self-protection
Besides reinforcing our watchfulness and dedicating ourselves to prayer, as often as we have an intuition — or feel the need  — to do so, let us live the spirit of fraternity, which is the third immunizing element against the mental waves of destructiveness and disturbance that surround us.

Thus, in the combat against every malaise that seems “senseless” or “too justified,” let us choose to tune to the good, keeping ourselves in a vigil-meditative-praying state, as much as it is within our reach, and let us commit ourselves to the exercise of universal fraternity, through the unfolding of constructive activities of shared learning and through the fulfillment of the duties that our conscience points out to us in the interaction with our brothers and sisters in humanity.

The Light that is upon you

The Light that is upon you

The Light that is upon you 1

You were surprised. The people who should have helped you the most, abandoned you when their petty interests clashed with your ideal. You went on, however. And you succeeded.

You offered help to those who were lost and in need of support. And the recipients of the grace interpreted you with the projection of their problems, invalidating your merit, turning themselves against you and even backstabbing you. You persevered, however. And triumph came to you.

You became a hidden lighthouse, on an unknown island, pointing the way to the ships that were drifting. And those who were adrift, on the high seas, opposed themselves to your benevolent efforts, complicating your paths. You persisted, however. And victory crowned your idealism.

The Light that is upon you, my friend, is Force that comes Above, and what comes from God is unsurpassable.

Go on, then, in your blessed effort to always serve, even under the protests of ungrateful and malicious insults, because, in the last instance, Divinity sees everything, solves everything, compensates everything, much more than the human imagination can conceive.

Empire State

No region of the planet is more heterogenous, in ethnic, cultural, linguistic terms than the “Empire State” of New York. No metropolis, in the orb, is more cosmopolitan than the city named after it.

Precisely for this reason, we wanted to establish in this region the matrix of our spiritual embassy on the surface of the Earth, to make more clearly evident, in the symbolic aspects and mainly in the practical sense, that we are speaking to all human communities that make up the earthly civilization.

From here, under the feminine and glorious sign of the freedom of conscience – the Statue of Liberty – and close to the world headquarters of the embryo of the future single government of the globe – the UN –, we intend to reverberate the Words of enlightenment and comfort to the whole earthly family of today, in the Name of the Christ Verb Jesus.

Roadmap and not label

The symbol of the cross, as an insignia of Christianity, is not a label of moral qualification – it is a roadmap of fraternal activities and of spiritual commitments to self-education.

Jesus stated to have come to save the sick and sinful souls. 1 To be Christian, in its deepest expression, therefore, according to the Christ-Verb Himself, is to recognize one’s own sinfulness and thus be engaged in a program of self-reform, through services rendered to brothers and sisters in humanity, in the maximum possible effort of authenticity, solidarity, detachment, forgiveness and combativeness in favor of the common good.

And, in this sacred goal-mission, after each fall, it behooves the authentic disciple of the Light to get up, as many times needed, because the more they honestly acknowledge their weaknesses, flaws and, consequently, their need of self-improvement, the more the initiatives to start over will be necessary to them.
