Genuine Christian peace

Those who love care, but also educate. And those who educate are not always gentle in the way they act.

Therefore, do not trouble yourself when faced with the moral need to be stern for the sake of those within your scope of personal responsibility, as dictated by your conscience.

Evaluate, with in-deep consideration, the measures of your affability and your severity so that you manage, in the most judicious way possible, your attitude when dealing with others.

Apologize when you catch yourself in error and make up for mistakes you have made. However, do not allow yourself the conniving complacency with evil in the name of conventions, expectations of sweetness or accommodative choices in interpersonal relationships.

Remember the authentic posture of Jesus and how much the Christ-Verb abhorred hypocritical behavior.

To be Christian is to seek peace while remaining, paradoxically, combative in favor of the good and never becoming complicit with evil, no matter how elaborate the justifications for doing so are.

Dead queen and Eternal Queen

Since childhood, I have nurtured a significant fondness for the recently deceased Queen Elizabeth II. Over time, it turned into pity, given the weight of dire responsibilities the crown imposed on her.

I was surprised, although moved by compassion, by the commotion of crowds, on the occasion of the carnal demise of an almost century-old monarch – for many, not even the head of state of their respective countries of origin or residence.

It is almost astonishing how they acted, in a way, like sleepwalkers, stunned by a nightmare they could not fathom.

Citizens of Great Britain and the fourteen nations still hold the English crown bearer as their majesty deemed to pay their last homage, to pay their final respects to an illustrious figure who has just passed away.

In a deeper analysis, we perceive the realm of fantasy and illusions tragically and poorly, replacing the Realm of Spirit and Fundamental Reality.

May Elizabeth II find peace, on her new journey, as a spirit that she is, like any of us – who may even be reborn as a commoner in the farthest corner of the vast empire that idolized her in her last physical existence.

For all of us, there is a serious warning, magnified by the curious “coincidence” that the biological death of the English sovereign occurs on the day of the traditional celebration of the Nativity of Mary of Nazareth…

Much better to establish devotion to the Divinity, who always listens and attends to u —even if not always according to our expectations, which are naturally full of evaluation flaws — through the symbolic royalties that represent Her, such as Mary Christ — famously known as Regina Celi (Queen of Heaven) —, than to cling to icons merely human and mortal, perched atop retrograde and harrowing institutions that fill no one’s heart or give anyone’s life purpose.

The paradox of mortality, in the context of immortality

Every day, your physical body suffers a little decline of its “charge of vitality” – so to speak, to simplify the complex biochemical processes that gradually lead a material organism to its consumption.

An analogous event takes place in the psychic field, although in an even more sinuous and intricate way. Personality characteristics, traits of character, idiosyncrasies of the ego, within the same lifetime and (more perceptively) in the course of various reincarnations, wear themselves out and gradually head toward death.

The evolution of spirit, therefore, unfolds itself, in other words, through weariness in relation to imperfections, through saturation of vicious patterns, through overcoming psychological and moral limitations.

The eternal individuality goes through long periods of experience and, through reiterated activities, develops its structures and voluntarily detaches from certain aspects of itself that seemed very dear, if not a priority, to it. And this detachment, on a deep level, has nothing to do with sacrifice but with a natural disinterest in what used to excite its soul.

Just as teenagers do not get excited about children’s play, nor do adults feel attracted to subjects that, ordinarily, allure teenagers. Older spirits in the evolutionary journey, relative to the average range of consciential refinement of today’s earthly humanity, consider disinteresting, tiresome, addictive or even repulsive what less mature people strive to achieve: possessions, power, prestige or any other games of egoic dispute which make human pathways full of suffering and tragedies, both individually and collectively.

Gradually, but surely, the percentage of the ego’s predominance and its disastrous consequences are reduced, in the human heart, giving way, little by little, at times by leaps and bounds, to the likes and passions of the Spiritual being that, in essence, we all are.

And thus it prospers, in the heart of the creature, the vocation of service to the common good, the deepening and the sophistication of feelings in interpersonal relationships, the impulse to apply all internal talents and external resources to benefit an ideal or of a humanitarian cause, the meditative, intellectual, artistic or devotional practices that lead the conscience to the ecstasy of the communion with heavenly geniuses, with the angels or holy souls of God, with the Divinity Itself.

Only route

In the pure and unconditional Love, the definitive redemption and sublimity.

Before that, however, my beloved child, in the human condition you are experiencing, try the less pure forms of love, which will gradually prepare you for the spectacular flights of transcendence and will already bring you, as they develop, great joy and intimate satisfaction.

In mature parenthood, you will gradually reach advanced levels of personal disinterest.

In true fraternity, you will unfold the sincere desire to see your brother and sister in humanity happy… and to work for the happiness of others.

In authentic friendship, you will slowly expand the potential for empathy toward, on one hand, the renewing compassion and, on the other, the genuine congratulations for the successes of others.

In universal camaraderie, you will discover that you do not yearn for anyone’s suffering, but rather wish that all creatures be happy.

There is no other route to the good, except for the one in the service for the good of other beings, moved by different levels of feelings of kindness – from the mere courtesy to the most extraordinary acts of personal sacrifice and martyrdom.

Omnipotence and Omnibenevolence

God can do everything and does everything for His-Her creatures, as long as it does not interfere in their space to develop the intelligence and expand the feelings, which implies, for the human condition, the inviolability of the field of consciousness and the consequent freedom of thought and action.

On a deeper level of considerations, however, it is important to recognize that the conscience that interprets, the thought that analyzes and the action that materializes the freedom of the being would never exist without the counterpoint of the untransferable responsibility for the influence that one wields on the world. In other words: each spirit is inescapably bound to the consequences of what they have done or failed to do, and their degree of culpability may be greater or lesser according to the circumstances and the way they have behaved when acting or failing to act.

The Infinite Power of the Creator restrains Itself in order to offer leeway for personal choice. However, concomitantly and paradoxically, it ties the decisions of individuals and groups to the natural results that arise from them, whether in the short, medium or long terms, which vary according to the constructiveness or destructiveness with which they manifested themselves.

The equally borderless Goodness of the Supreme Being, however, mitigates every harm while maximizing any benefit that people and collectivities should derive from their initiatives and/or non-actions.

Trust in the Perfect Intelligence of the Origin of everything, beloved child, and try to position yourself before the existential challenges, intimate or (apparently) exterior to you, with the resoluteness of the souls who are conscious that they are never alone and that the events of life always occur for educational purposes, even if often characterized by greater negativity – the necessary pole to the vital flow of existing, so that the dynamism of evolution unfolds, complex, unpredictable and, ultimately, beyond the reach of the human cognitive spectrum.
