When the soul is confused, it is time to activate the spirit. In other words: when the emotional is in turmoil, it is time for reason and conscience to act assertively. Do not allow yourself to be intoxicated by the allurements of immediacy or personal and shallow interest of any kind, such as living for the sake of accumulating material goods or chasing opportunities to enjoy a few extra physical pleasures. Be who you really are. Reveal to yourself daily what characterizes you as immortal: your spiritual essence. And work on it, systematically and uninterruptedly, investing in your ideals, your feelings, your humanitarian principles and purposes, your most cherished relationships (including family) and, finally, your connection with God. If you walk this path well, you will become stronger and stronger and, ultimately, imperturbable in the face of any adversity in your life. What nourishes the soul and is therefore inherent to the spirit is outside quantitative standards – it relates directly to what concerns the qualitative. Feeling, more than thought. Kindness, more than intelligence. Solidary action, more than productivity for the physical world, the economy or the job market. Being, more than having. Living, more than just existing and going through reincarnation without a higher purpose than mere survival. Fulfilling a vocation, be it professional, family, social, political, academic, religious or a multifaceted combination of different aspects of the human condition. In short, following the Flow of the Divine Will, which invariably represents the highest level of happiness and personal fulfillment that an individual can achieve in a given existence. Benjamin Teixeira de Aguiar (medium) The Essential could not depend on socio-economic status, psychological standards, intellectual level or physical conditions that are not accessible to all people. Otherwise, God would not be Absolute Justice and Goodness. So, when you find yourself immersed in overly complex conjectures or inextricable confusions, in the realm of the fundamental – your relationship with the Divinity and with your individual purpose in life -, suspend the state of turmoil, meditate, pray and put yourself back on the axis of judiciousness and good will. The Supreme Being is Infinite Wisdom and equally Immeasurable Benevolence. Therefore, the fundamental inspiration for your inner tranquility could never be inaccessible to your heart. Try to attune yourself to the spirit of duty, of service to the common good, from the smallest things in everyday life to the major existential decisions, no matter how many people you reach. Seek peace of conscience, the intention of being useful to the well-being of your fellow human beings, and for the rest, the filters of reasonableness, pragmatism and responsibility will adjust any operational details that may be necessary, in all areas of your life. Benjamin Teixeira de Aguiar (medium) Human worries are often so puerile, so unnecessary!… Let’s put ourselves in a higher perspective. From above, problems can be seen in their true dimension, revealing themselves to be much smaller than they seem at first glance, when we are immersed in them. Adopting a higher angle of observation means focusing on the goals that really need to be prioritized. Let’s take the perspective of timeless and collective purposes, of the essential principles of life, such as spirituality, learning, peace, happiness, love for family, friends and brothers and sisters in ideal. Let’s ask ourselves: “One year from now, will the matter that troubles me today still be afflicting me?” If our answer is it will not, then it is secondary and does not deserve our attention. Let’s not pay attention to what is worthless. Once we have assimilated the fundamental lessons the difficulty may offer us, let’s forget about it and move on. 1) Message originally received by psychophonic means. |
