The need for union

It is necessary a greater unity among Spiritists, among Catholics, among various Christian denominations… Yet, friend, the topic is much broader, more serious and profound.
Our Lord Jesus, from the height of the Cross, beseeched the Supreme Being: “Father, may they all be One.” The required union far transcends the narrow limits of the religious segments. Humanity needs to unite as a whole, beyond the borders of creed, nationality, language, race, sexuality, social or professional class, or in any other item of definition we come up with to separate ourselves from one another, in our multi-millennial moral insanity.

Unless we stop looking at each other with suspicion, with the crazy pretension of being superior or even — the delusion of delusions — God’s favorites, we will be inspired by evil forces and far from being in tune with the true Level of Consciousness of the Christ of God, who asked us to love one another, including our enemies.
We have to wake up, while we can from our childish, perverse and genocidal dream of judging — in the unconscious level for some — that God has favorites and condemns to perpetual and immeasurable suffering individuals He-She created. Let us not make the sacrilegious mistake, so repeated throughout history, of basing ourselves on passages from the bible or from other holy scriptures to endorse our psychopathies and unspeakable wickedness.

The ancient and complex literary pieces of the religious traditions lend themselves to all kinds of interpretation. It is up to each reader to give the due respect to what is Sacred when seeking to understand the Everlasting words, the Spirit behind the letter, the subliminal aspects of these records, so archaic and many times translated, to avoid making ourselves blasphemous, projecting our human disturbances in messages of Celestial Origin.

Fraternity without borders

Let’s understand the importance of experiencing the bonds of fraternity, inside and outside circuits of blood or marriage, so that we not only grow toward the great network of universal fraternity, but that we also improve the quality of our most intimate affective bonds.

May all interpersonal contact be guided by the idea of equality and solidarity, with the least possible possessiveness and manipulation, unfortunately so common in human relations on Earth.

Stepping away to better get closer

One of the Life’s “magic” is to understand the reading of flows of events as indicative of the Divine Will.
Forgiveness, therefore, means not to wish harm to the offender and to be open to conciliation, as much as possible, respecting the moments of minor distancing, so that they do not become major ruptures. To give space to yourself and to the other person is extremely important for the reharmonization of each one with him/herself and for
the ” dust settling” in the relationship itself.

Battles everywhere

There are more obvious battlefields, such as the job market, the commercial “territories”, the business, academic and scientific competition, the parliamentary arenas of political disputes and the intricate litigations of the legal sphere.

However, if we sharpen our perception, we will notice that, from the court to the tatamis, from the confrontations between coworkers to the distressing conjugal and familial struggles, the battles and the spirit of fight are manifested in all spheres of life. To be aware of it is extremely relevant to survive and even, paradoxically, enjoy relative peace and harmony in interpersonal relationships.

It was not by a chance that the Christ-Verb asserted that He would send His disciples as sheep among wolves, and that He came to Earth to bring the sword and not peace, the sword of intensification of the evolutionary conflicts, catalytic Angel of human progress as He was, as He is! (Matthew, 10:16 and 34)

Jesus also taught us to be attentive, in the sentence “watch and pray, so that you will not fall into temptation.” And, more categorical in this approach, the Teacher further asserted: “Be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.” (Matthew 10:16)

Spirituality does not consort with naivety and stupidity. Only with intelligence and clear discernment of evil, it is possible to live, with responsibility and greater probability to succeed, the pursuit of transcendentality, which is a high-level accomplishment and not a low-level one, sophisticated and not primitive, both in the moral and intellectual senses.

Thus we will, more easily, understand the importance of triumphing in the most elementary and serious (even in terms of consequences) battlefield: that of one’s own inner world.

We must be on guard against agents of sabotage and pernicious forces contrary to the development of our human condition, in the sure victory war of the spiritual advancement, in the course of centuries, with a trajectory of losses and gains, much more compensatory and less winding, the more we strive to favor the natural and divine flow that is intrinsic to us, towards ascesis.
