In the latter half of the night of Tuesday, June 23, as I was bringing to a close one of the lectures I present weekly, reserved for members of the Inner Core of our Organization, the Spirit Eugênia-Aspásia drew near to me and asked, with great kindness:
“Heighten your receptivity. I shall convey a brief message to everyone…”
I heeded the illustrious spiritual teacher, lifted my eyes, and fixed them upon an indefinite point near the ceiling of the auditorium, suspending the mental exchange with those present in the audience. I then heard myself utter, in a gentle psychophonic trance, the sentence in French that so masterfully crowned the propositions for the fight for the dignity of all persons belonging to minoritized groups, theme that had informed the lecture intended for our friends and, brothers and sisters in the Ideal:
“‘Vive la différence!’ (Long live the difference!)”
Then, before I could emerge from the trance, I added, deeply moved by the discarnate teacher’s influence:
“‘Vive la guerre!’ (Long live the war!)”
Partially breaking free of the state of semi-incorporation, my brow furrowed in surprise, I questioned the venerable guide before all those present, in the hall and online:
“Is that truly so? Did I capture it correctly?”
And although I did not psychically hear her, the mentor herself, still making use of my vocal apparatus, answered into the microphone, without any alteration to my own timbre, preserving the natural, informal tone of the class among companions in faith:
- Yes. May we live out the good war, the war waged in favor of the good, so that we need not wage war against the evil that one day will beset us, as a consequence of our negligence. May we live, in the words of Paul of Tarsus, the good fight…¹”
Eugênia paused and asked that, once the lecture had concluded, I enter the mediumistic booth to interact with a few members of the Institution’s board. At the close of those interactions, she added, for me alone:
- Let us remember what the Christ-Verb assured us: “I came not to bring peace, but a sword,”² so that we do not falter before the calls to battle in defense of all the causes that together compose the great Unified Cause for the whole of humanity.”
At last, she who had once been Saint Bernadette Soubirous, the visionary of Our Lady at Lourdes, imparted:
“Our Great Mother, Mary Christ, charged us with bringing this message of encouragement and inspiration for benevolent action to the wider public, in this era of so much misrule, of weakening of character and the decline of souls, in the face of the forces and agents of evil that beset the creatures on every side, drawing them toward despondency, vice and hopelessness.”
