Courage, determination and integrity, in the face of the natural tribulations of life, are essential achievements of the spirit and precede many other values to be assimilated into consciousness.
The development of these virtues comes about precisely by facing adversity. This is why there are so many misfortunes on Earth, with pain and suffering rampant in the physical world and in the spiritual realms close to the planetary crust.
It is important to remember that, among the exhortations of the Christ Jesus, stands out the severe fight against hypocrisy – an abominable resource of psychological manipulation and escape from harsher sociocultural challenges, often used by those who live in less dignified spheres of thinking and feeling.
“Let not your heart be troubled.”1 “Take courage! I have overcome the world.”2
Strive to face, with bravery, discipline and authenticity, the vicissitudes of existence and you will notice that, from these fundamental acquisitions of the being, everything else will come as a consequence.
