Readjust your expectations. Try to feel what bothers you, what is missing or needs to be modified. Then, take practical and immediate actions, persisting in their application. It is not necessary to revolutionize the structure of your existence in order to foster your own well-being.

Sometimes, some originality in addressing problems is sufficient. Lightness and tranquility, specially for thinking with more clarity, are indispensable. Ultimately, focus on the possible solutions — plural and not singular —, opening up the mind to the field of life’s and consciousness’s infinite possibilities.

Neuroses – or disorders, according to the modern vernacular of psychology on the physical plane — make up complex systems of maintenance and regulation of the psychism, according to the individual’s own needs, very often of a compensatory nature. For instance: people who were attacked in their self-esteem as children may develop a sense of personal excellence, which leads them to arrogance and presumption; or, in the opposite way, according to very personal characteristics, they may develop a projection of power, in a close or distant idol, with whom they identify on a pre- conscious or unconscious level, as in the case of the “women-Cinderella” who await the arrival of the “man-god-savior-solver-of-all-problems” or in the case of fans who idolize celebrities.

The psychological archetypes (allow the apparent pleonasm), however, can be an excellent and effective alternative to socio-cultural stereotypes (this is the reason for the previous pleonasm — to justify the use of the adjectives for stereotypes, distinguishing its origin and nature in comparison with archetypes), such as that of the “arrogant guy” or the “idiot Cinderella”. Trying to elaborate one’s own problems and shortcomings with compensatory realizations and functions, with services rendered to the community, is a magnificent way of resolving one’s own intimate pending issues. God does not allow disturbances without creative purposes. Therefore, face each one of your inner or existential problematics as an invitation to unfold one virtue or a set of new attributes, additional talents, expanded power and lucidity.

In this sense, those who feel “very sure” of themselves and, at the same time, have realized their reverse of unconscious low self-esteem, as much as the diametrically opposite psychotype: of the person with an inferiority complex at the conscious level, who has already connected to their sense of their unconscious arrogance, can transfer their sense of low self-worth to a sense of reverence and recognition of the Divine power, and project his/her emotional counterpart of overconfidence in God, thus serving Him-Her, in the person of their brothers and sisters in humanity, thereby embracing both sides of the neurotic “inferiority-superiority” coin, a psychic binomial, as there are in fact so many in the structures of the human mind. The two poles begin to act in cooperation, constructively, and both at the conscious level, which is the path of psychological integration sought by all psychotherapeutic schools, because the individual recognizes/acknowledges/accepts his/her own inferiority, and, simultaneously, experiences the compensatory impulse of the superiority-savior, in the image and Person of God. Now, the woman with the “Cinderella complex” may work ardently to unfold in herself all the characteristics that she mentally delineates in the figure of the “Prince Charming”, making them goals for herself, instead of idealizing them in a hypothetical partner to consociate with.

On the other hand, also be careful not to attack someone who is already very fragile. Very often, very imposing people are nothing more than inflatable-inflated balloons, with a lot of volume but no content in it other than air. Inversely, pay attention to the “externalized” fragility of certain individuals: it may be a mere behavioral simulacrum, an emotional mask to seduce the incautious, thus articulating ways to dominate and possess, through intricate complexes of guilt and of fear, carefully woven into a strategic web of manipulation.

In everything, strive to be lucid, attentive to the fact that the mind has a natural tendency to descend to atavistic levels of automatic functioning, and is therefore primitive in its judgments and reactions to the external world. Pray, meditate, observe acutely. Go to therapy, consult your spiritual counselor. Read, research, inform yourself by any means at your disposal. And, finally, question everything, mainly your certainties and victim complexes, surrendering to God and His-Her emissaries, when the intuition of the best thing to do, not postponing, however, any initiative that becomes/is urgent and necessary.

This is the path of the best lucidity, and of the smallest error.

Let us run away from fairy tales, from the tragic fate of imprisoning ourselves to an existential context and/or line of destiny in which dreams of love often turn into nightmares of horror.
 
Instead of escapist fantasies, let us seek plausible projects (for they are based on the reality of our own internal potentials and the external circumstances), always concerning the concretization of vocational, humanitarian and solidarity ideals, in all dimensions of our personal life, from domestic to professional, from recreational to spiritual.

Follow your inner voices, in what they whisper to you about happiness, love and ideal. There can never be any truly satisfying and lasting external achievement without first conquering the inner universe.

Unless we stop looking at each other with suspicion, with the crazy pretension of being superior or even — the delusion of delusions — God’s favorites, we will be inspired by evil forces and far from being in tune with the true Level of Consciousness of the Christ of God, who asked us to love one another, including our enemies.
We have to wake up, while we can from our childish, perverse and genocidal dream of judging — in the unconscious level for some — that God has favorites and condemns to perpetual and immeasurable suffering individuals He-She created. Let us not make the sacrilegious mistake, so repeated throughout history, of basing ourselves on passages from the bible or from other holy scriptures to endorse our psychopathies and unspeakable wickedness.

The ancient and complex literary pieces of the religious traditions lend themselves to all kinds of interpretation. It is up to each reader to give the due respect to what is Sacred when seeking to understand the Everlasting words, the Spirit behind the letter, the subliminal aspects of these records, so archaic and many times translated, to avoid making ourselves blasphemous, projecting our human disturbances in messages of Celestial Origin.

After an hour and a half of psychic conversation with Eugênia, I had a brief and very light meal, in the late afternoon in the near-winter of the United States (temperature oscillating around 0ºC), and I returned to the computer, to receive the article to be published in the website. The Spiritual Mentor informed that would not be her issuing the lesson, on this occasion, asking me to open the psychic channels to another personality of the Domain of Good. Thus, temporarily defocusing my psyche from the disembodied Mentor’s frequency — but keeping it in attunement with the range of the Friendly Spirituality, in order to prevent intrusion of disturbing agents from the lowest levels of vibration —, I asked the following mental question, the seminal element of today’s mediumistic dialogue published as “message of the day” in our electronic site.

(Benjamin) Hello, Spiritual Friends. Do any of you want to say something?

(Temístocles) Yes. How are you, my friend? It is Temístocles who speaks here.

(B) – Hello, Temístocles! I am Good. Do you want to have a dialogue or do you prefer a monologue?

(T) – Let’s talk.

(B) – Do you talk about any particular theme?

(T) – Yes. The search for meaning.

(B) – Wow! A basic philosophical theme.

(T) – Without a doubt.

(B) – What would you tell us about it?

(T) – That the meaning is in the signifier.

(B) – ?

(T) – What gives meaning to life events is not the reason that analyzes, nor the ego that decides, according to its own interests; much less the instincts, which blindly propels; but the human heart, in the field of the ideal, of the feelings, of the values, of the principles. This — and only this — distinguishes us from the brutes, from the animals and from the machines.

(B) – Excellent.

(T) – People really get confused, when trying to establish satisfactory goals for themselves, on Earth today, because they want to replace feelings for intense emotions; and causes for sweeping passions. They will never find themselves, in depth; they will never, truly, be realized by following this route, because of the inexorable law of life, which impels all conscious creatures to the process of ascesis. To exchange the spirit for the excitement; the soul for the matter, it would be equivalent to exchanging, in an absolute manner, in the daily diet, potable water for ethyl alcohol.

(B) – Interesting. I emphatically agree that people confuse a lot feelings with emotions; “heart” with passions. For this reason, I would ask you: would you have any tips or practical suggestions to help them distinguish one sphere of reality from another?

(T) – Only through the search for peace, through the sense of duty fulfilled, through personal realization, through the vocations and intuitions experienced, it will be possible to solve the neuralgic existential pendency of the soul. And those who fail to grasp the practical implications of my assertion, thinking it insufficient, will have to suffer the shock of the primitive impulses within themselves, until they get fed up with them, finally feeling the need for something more profound, broader and truly fulfilling.

(B) – Um-hum. Do you have anything else to state?

(T) – No. That’s all I have to say about it for today.

You observe someone with reservation, or even with disdain… This person may represent what you are far from understanding… You do not know who he or she can be, once free from a body of dense matter. He or she is obviously human and has flaws. But, do you have any idea of who this person really is, behind the appearance of normality that the most advanced souls make sure to keep, when passing through the surface of the globe to fulfill special mandates of work?

There are unequivocal signs around the Representatives of the Good, and the more they are endorsed by the Celestial Authorities they represent, the stronger the signs. It is not a matter of petty and childish dispute over who is right, but an alert to recognize those who truly have the Tutelage of the Greater Plane of Life,  speaking in the name of the Higher Levels of Consciousness, while stationed in the physical domain of existence.

Be careful with prejudgments. It is very easy to follow the standards of morality of a certain time and place, of a specific culture, including religious segments, with their exegesis of sacred scriptures that vary from pulpit to pulpit, from church to church. Let’s remember the horrors perpetrated, in the past, by formally organized religions. The legitimate prophets, as a rule, were treated, by their contemporaries, as impostors, depraved and immoral, when not as agents of evil forces. Today, clamorous mistakes of the same genre continue to happen, proportionally to the current parameters of costumes and values. Therefore, there is a lot of false moral nowadays, and it often manifests itself as pharisaic hypocrisy, in the conservatism that hinders the progress of communities and individuals.

To repeat texts of the Bible or clichés of any canons of “unquestionable truths”, so as to justify discriminatory postures against those who think or act differently, was exactly what the religious and illustrated classes did, the ones who persecuted, judged and sentenced to death by crucifixion the Greatest Envoy of Heaven whom Earth has ever seen and will never see again.
“Think outside the box”, as the Anglophones say. Be smart enough to go beyond the schemes of evaluation that are circumstantial to your environment and cultural formation or restrict to the era in which you live. Remember that what is defended by the conservatives, nowadays, as right, fair and good, has once been execrated not long ago… Women and blacks were considered soulless beings; non-Jews were seen as enemies of God; and even hygiene habits were once interpreted as dangerous temptations to be avoided, to not give opportunity to the “passions of the flesh”!…

It is about asking yourself: what is going to be, within a very short period of time, abominated by the great majority of people as retrograde and unfair? The accelerated evolution of ideas and references of moral and spirituality give us an idea of what is to come… But only a vague notion. Be careful. Countless creatures fell on the deplorable mistake of stoning who had reincarnated to save them from their own unhappiness, and had to face the consequences of much greater misfortune, right after. God is Fair, severely Fair with those who see themselves in conditions of judging others, as He-She is also All-Merciful to those who have understanding and fraternal postures toward their brothers and sisters in humanity. That is what the greater Master of moral and spiritual mystique said: “For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged.”

Pay attention, so as to benefit more and better with such friendly presences and with what they have to offer you, to your own growth and well-being. There rarely are angels or sanctified spirits representing Powers of Heaven, but, as a rule, good men and women, noble enough to put their ideals above their personal and immediate interests. Be alert, inasmuch as not only the personalities raised to extraordinary positions of responsibility before the multitude, way more mature and visibly ahead of their time, are under our analysis, in this unpretentious study, but also those figures of little charisma and maybe even a little boring (because less moved by the ego), who can occult themselves in the position of a dedicated teacher, an affectionate father, a loyal and generous friend or a mere unknown person, in the thoroughfare, capable of performing an act of solidarity, without expecting any retribution or even recognition.

As an openly “transsexual” and medium, she was condemned to be burned at the stake, by the Inquisitorial Courts, with only 19 years of age, two years after finishing her glorious campaign for the reclaiming of the French territory from the English invaders, such a mission that was only completed in the following years of her execution, for they ravished her from the physical existence, before she could accomplish it. It is not known how many lives and values of cultural heritage were saved, by the action of the brilliant general who incarnated in a girl’s body, to lead armies of hungry, unprepared and demoralized men, taking them to successive and prodigious victories, over the then invincible enemy forces, without ever wielding a sword.

The word “complain”, in Portuguese, refers to the sense of “repeating a claim.”

If you have already registered an issue, you do not have to return to it, just to reaffirm its existence — this would be useless, unhelpful and even harmful, for focusing on the problem, rather than focusing on seeking solutions. Instead of complaining for any reason, focus your energies, your attention and your action on resolving, circumventing, assimilating, reinterpreting the experience, growing with it, developing skills, expanding your consciousness, projecting yourself to transcendence!…
